Description: Saturday. February 9th the Covington Elks Lodge 1806 will host the North East District Hoop Shoot at Newton County High School Gym for ages 8 to 13 -boys and girls on Ram Drive. The competition begins at 9 a.m., but the gym opens at 8 a.m. for practice of the contestants..
